The current record is held by Julio Jaime from Colorado, USA, who kept his eyes open without blinking for 1 hour, 5 minutes, and 11 seconds. This feat requires extreme concentration and control of the eye muscles, as blinking is a natural reflex to keep the eyes moist and free from irritants. It is not recommended to attempt to break this record without proper training and supervision. **

I prefer terrarium keeping because I enjoy creating and maintaining miniature ecosystems for plants and small animals. I find the process of designing and arranging the plants and substrate in a terrarium to be very rewarding. Additionally, I appreciate the low maintenance requirements of terrariums compared to aquariums, as they generally require less frequent cleaning and water changes. Overall, I find the creativity and tranquility of terrarium keeping to be more appealing to me. **

However, others believe that responsible animal ownership can provide animals with care, protection, and a safe environment. Ultimately, the ethical considerations of keeping animals vary depending on the treatment and welfare provided to them. **

However, neglecting or mistreating pets, such as not meeting their basic needs or subjecting them to physical or emotional harm, can be considered animal cruelty. It is important for pet owners to be responsible and provide a loving and safe environment for their animals. **

Bird keeping can be considered animal cruelty if the birds are not provided with proper care, space, and stimulation. Keeping birds in small cages, without access to natural sunlight, proper nutrition, and social interaction can lead to physical and psychological harm. It is important for bird owners to educate themselves on the specific needs of their birds and provide a suitable environment to ensure their well-being. Responsible bird keeping can be a rewarding experience for both the birds and their owners. **
